Last week Celebrus attended our partner Teradata’s Possible 2024 Conference in LA where we were honored with their ISV Partner of the Year Award. It was a buzzy event filled with many engaging speakers on hot topics in data. Here are our 3 hot takes on key topics including those from our panel addressing AI/ML Innovation, Modernization and Deployment Flexibility with Celebrus’ Simon Burton, VP Global Alliances and Partners:

1. AI, Artificial Intelligence, AIoh, did we mention…? AI

  • AI Buyers Beware: As Eduardo Kassner, Chief Data & AI Officer at Microsoft put it, “you think you brought home a dog, but what you really have is a tiger—do you know how to take care of and feed this beast properly?” Businesses must think of fraud, bias, and the risks involved when starting to use AI. As another speaker the next day quipped, “AI is like my husband, it will never admit when it’s wrong.” Funny line—truly, the room was in stitches, but then the point was made. Really pause and take a moment to think about what that means for AI learning models. Never admitting they are wrong…

2. Customer Centricity Rules the Day
